Enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech's best gardens
This is a unique opportunity (limited to 14 places) to participate in our first ever Gardens of Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains tour.
Led by Andy Phillips, who has guided numerous tours in Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains for many years. You will have the opportunity to visit a wide range of gardens from the ever-popular Jardin Majorelle (former studio of YSL); Cactus Thiemann – one man’s dedication (Hans Thiemann) to travel the world in search of unique cacti; as well as the amazing Anima Gardens designed by André Heller, one of the world’s most influential and successful multi-media artists. In addition, we will also visit La Paradis du Safran during the saffron harvest, as well as the newly established gardens at the Olinto Atlas Mountain Retreat.
Staying four nights in the beautiful Boutique Riad Les Yeux Blues in Marrakech’s old medina and two nights at the award-winning Kasbah du Toubkal.
Whilst staying at the Riad Les Yeux Blues we will have an opportunity to meet some of the students who are supported by Education For All Morocco, a charity established by Discover Ltd almost twenty years ago. EFA supports the education of young girls from rural communities in the Atlas Mountains. This will provide participants with a wonderful opportunity to explore and get to know the local Berber community that we will be visiting at the end of the week.

Andy is a former university lecturer, schools’ inspector and educational consultant. His first contact with Discover Ltd was in 1982 on a geography fieldtrip. Since then, he has travelled (and cycled) extensively in Morocco and has run many trips for and on behalf of Discover Ltd. As a keen gardener/allotment holder, he has visited numerous gardens in Morocco and led a bespoke private tour of these gardens in November 2025 which was extremely well received:
