Escape for a short break in the High Atlas Mountains
Fly into Marrakech and within 90 mins arrive in the High Atlas Mountains, which dominate the skyline to the south of Marrakech.
With several peaks above 4,000 metres, the Western High Atlas is part of a larger chain of mountains that spreads from the Atlantic Coast in the west to the Mediterranean Sea in the east. The mountains are home to the indigenous Amazigh (Berber) people who have inhabited Morocco for at least 5,000 years. The Amazigh live in small clusters of earthen adobe houses which cling precipitously to mountainsides and are often only accessible by mule or foot.
Guests will stay on a full-board basis in our comfortable accommodation at Kasbah du Toubkal in the trailhead village of Imlil (just 40 miles from Marrakech, but seemingly a thousand miles from the hubbub and heat of the city!).
Itinerary based on two people sharing a Standard Room:
Private transfer from Marrakech Menara Airport where you will be taken to Imlil, a journey of approximately 90 mins’ duration, with plenty of photo opportunities en route. Accommodation will be provided at Kasbah du Toubkal. Depending on your arrival time, there will be an introductory walk in the area. Lunch (subject to arrival time) and dinner is provided at Kasbah du Toubkal.

Free days in the Imlil area to explore the local valley or relax in and around the Kasbah, enjoying spectacular views from its roof terraces and infinity pool, and relaxing in its hammam (steam bath) – the choice is yours.
One full day guided trek with a picnic is included in the package. Other guided treks can be arranged and paid for directly at the Kasbah as required.
Lunch (except on the day of the trek) and dinner is provided at Kasbah du Toubkal.
After breakfast, return by private transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport for your departure. Approximately 90 minutes duration.

- Food and soft drinks on a full-board basis during your stay at Kasbah du Toubkal. Please note that the Kasbah is not licensed to sell alcohol, so please feel free to bring your own alcoholic drinks if you wish.
- Free use of a private hammam at the Kasbah.
- All taxes include a 5% levy to the Village Association (further details on request).
- Mountain accommodation is approximately 1800 metres above sea level.
