| When the first boarding house of Education For All opened its doors in 2007 in a rented apartment in Asni, to provide safe, homely accommodation for girls from some of the poorest families in the most remote villages in the High Atlas Mountains, enabling them to continue their secondary education, it welcomed thirty-six nervous young ladies.
